About The Position
The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) supports the Mission and Vision of Saint John's Health Center by assisting Registered Nurses and Licensed Vocational Nurses with patient-care tasks and other unit-based activities in the assigned department. The role is part-time and works 12-hour day shifts at Providence Saint John’s Health Center in Santa Monica, California. The center describes its culture as patient-focused, whole-person care built on understanding, commitment, and mutual respect.
Requirements
- Education sufficient to meet certification, license, or registration requirements.
- Upon hire, California Nursing Assistant Certification License.
- Upon hire, National Provider BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
Nice To Haves
- Six months of Certified Nursing Assistant experience in an acute, sub-acute, or skilled nursing facility, or one year of Nursing Assistant experience in an acute hospital setting.
Responsibilities
- Assist Registered Nurses and Licensed Vocational Nurses with patient-care tasks.
- Perform other unit-based activities within the assigned department.
