About The Position

Moments Hospice is hiring a full-time, field-based Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) / Hospice Aide to provide hands-on personal care to hospice patients in private residences, assisted living settings, and care facilities. The role helps patients remain comfortable, clean, and cared for, while also offering support and peace of mind to their families.

The CNA works closely with a dedicated RN Case Manager as part of an interdisciplinary care team. Moments Hospice describes the setting as supportive, with clear expectations, reasonable caseloads, structured training, and opportunities to build skills. The position follows a Monday–Friday schedule from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM and pays $18–$23 per hour. A fleet car program provides a company vehicle for business and personal use, with fuel and insurance covered at minimal cost, subject to eligibility.

Requirements

• Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification.
• Ability to work in an electronic medical record system.
• Strong written, verbal, and active-listening communication skills.
• Excellent customer service, problem-solving, and time-management skills.
• Compassion, patience, and the ability to handle emotional situations with care.
• Strong understanding of professional boundaries.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs. and a good understanding of body mechanics.
• Valid driver's license and current auto insurance.

Nice To Haves

• Healthcare caregiving experience in home care, assisted living/memory care, skilled nursing, hospital, or hospice.
• Current CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and skin care.
• Assist with lifting, transferring, positioning, range of motion, exercise, and ambulation.
• Assist with dining and nutrition.
• Review and follow each patient's plan of care under the direction of the RN Case Manager.
• Provide comfort and companionship to patients and support to their families.
• Maintain electronic medical records.
