About The Position
The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) assists patients with daily living activities, including bathing, feeding, and mobility. The CNA works under the supervision of registered nurses or licensed practical nurses to support patient comfort and care. The position is at Glen Island, 490 Pelham Rd, New Rochelle, NY 10805. Available schedules include part-time day shifts, full-time evening or night shifts, and weekends-only positions. Part-time and full-time employees must work every other weekend.
Requirements
- Active CNA certification.
- At least 6 months of CNA experience in a skilled nursing facility or long-term care setting.
- Ability to lift and move patients.
- Ability to work flexible shifts.
- Provide a current pre-employment physical.
- Provide current PPD or Quantiferon documentation.
- Provide vaccine records.
- Provide proof of MMR and Varicella immunity.
- Provide a copy of COVID vaccination documentation.
- Provide a copy of CNA certificate.
- Provide valid picture identification and Social Security card.
- Provide two professional references.
Responsibilities
- Assist patients with bathing, feeding, and mobility.
- Work under the supervision of RNs or LPNs to ensure patient comfort and care.
