About The Position

Hickory Creek at Peru is hiring Certified Nursing Assistants for night shifts, with full-time, part-time, and PRN opportunities. CNAs help foster a warm, supportive, homelike environment where residents’ well-being, dignity, respect, and individual needs are prioritized. The role includes assisting residents with activities of daily living, providing companionship and reassurance, and supporting excellent senior care. A $1,000 sign-on bonus is offered to full-time CNAs, paid in installments after 180 days, 270 days, and one year of employment. Nursing Assistants in Training who earn their CNA certification by November 30 are also eligible. Terms and conditions apply; the offer expires November 30, 2026.

Requirements

• Hold a valid and current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in Indiana.
• Be able to perform physical tasks, including lifting, bending, and assisting with resident mobility.
• Have a strong passion for geriatric nursing and a commitment to senior care excellence.
• Demonstrate the C.A.R.E. values: Compassion, Accountability, Relationships, and Excellence.
• Have the stamina, strength, and endurance to provide nursing services.
• Collaborate with facility teams and communicate interpersonally to support coordinated care and a respectful, positive work environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living.
• Provide companionship and reassurance to residents.
• Help create a comforting, engaging, and homelike environment that respects each resident’s dignity and individual needs.
• Work collaboratively with nursing and other facility teams to coordinate comprehensive care.
