About The Position

Collingswood Manor, a United Methodist Communities (UMC) nonprofit community in Collingswood, New Jersey, is hiring a part-time Certified Nursing Assistant for its evening shift. The CNA will support older adults in assisted living, memory care, and long-term care as they enjoy dinner, unwind, and settle in for the night. The schedule is 2 pm to 10 pm, with one weekday shift each week and every other Saturday and Sunday. Pay is $23.00 to $25.55 per hour, based on experience. The employer aims to respond to applicants within 48 hours.

Requirements

• Active New Jersey Certified Nurse Aide certification in good standing on the NJ Nurse Aide Registry; certification must be completed within 120 days of hire.
• Experience charting in PointClickCare EMR.
• At least 6 months of CNA experience in senior living or long-term care.
• Must be able to produce a negative drug test.
• May be subject to a background check.
• Must be able to satisfactorily perform the essential functions of the position; reasonable accommodations may be provided upon request.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living, including personal appearance, dressing, grooming, and overall comfort.
• Follow individualized service plans and maintain accurate documentation to support effective communication and care.
• Perform routine resident check-ins to promote safety, well-being, and quality of life.
• Support residents during meals and assist with mobility, transfers, and adaptive equipment as needed.
• Build positive relationships with residents and collaborate with team members to create a welcoming, supportive environment.
• Communicate resident preferences, observations, and concerns to appropriate staff, and report significant changes to the nursing team when necessary.
