About The Position

Certified Nursing Assistants work alongside fellow caregivers to provide residents with daily nursing care and services based on each resident’s plan of care and individual needs. CNAs also provide companionship, compassion, and encouragement. The role is located at Kingston Health Center of Sylvania in Sylvania, Ohio.

Requirements

• Active state Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or GED/HSE preferred.
• 0–1 years of relevant experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with personal hygiene and activities of daily living, including turning, lifting, positioning, and transportation when needed.
• Observe and report changes in residents’ conditions and make independent decisions when needed.
• Collaborate with the team to ensure resident comfort and well-being.
• Provide companionship, compassion, and encouragement to residents.
• Maintain a safe and comfortable environment.
