About The Position

Aviata at Fletcher is seeking a dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide exceptional, person-centered care to residents in its skilled nursing home in Tampa, Florida. The CNA supports residents’ wellbeing, dignity, and independence while demonstrating compassion, clinical excellence, and connection. Caregivers must complete the company’s new-hire orientation. The employer participates in background screenings provided by AHCA.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Florida CNA license.
• Ability to read and communicate adequately to perform essential job duties.
• Ability to treat and care for seniors and their property with dignity and respect.
• Ability to communicate with clients in a friendly and congenial manner.
• Completion of new-hire orientation.

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct care to residents and patients in accordance with applicable laws, regulations, and life care standards.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living, personal hygiene, and mobility while prioritizing wellbeing, dignity, and independence.
• Provide support with daily tasks, light housekeeping, meal preparation, and companionship.
• Observe and report changes in residents’ condition and status.
• Participate in rounds to monitor for hazards or incidents and provide assistance as needed.
