About The Position
The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) provides high-quality, compassionate care to residents and helps ensure they are treated with dignity and respect and have choices in their lives. The role provides direct resident care, reports changes in residents’ conditions to an RN or LPN, and documents care in the POC system. The CNA demonstrates effective time management and prioritization of tasks.
Requirements
- Be in good standing on the State Nursing Assistant registry or appropriate entity.
- Have good communication skills.
- Be able to read, write, and communicate in English.
- Hold BLS Certification.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct resident care.
- Report changes in residents’ conditions to an RN or LPN.
- Chart in the POC system.
- Demonstrate time management and prioritize tasks.
