About The Position
Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA) provide high-quality, compassionate care to residents. Working on the front lines, the CNA-NAR helps ensure residents are treated with dignity and respect and have choices in their lives. The role provides direct resident care, reports changes in residents’ conditions to an RN or LPN, and charts in the POC system. The CNA also demonstrates time management and prioritization of tasks. Benedictine is a nonprofit senior care organization founded by the Sisters of St. Scholastica. Requirements
- Be in good standing on the State Nursing Assistant registry or appropriate entity.
- Have good communication skills.
- Be able to read, write, and communicate in English.
- Hold BLS Certification.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct resident care.
- Report resident condition changes to an RN or LPN.
- Chart in the POC system.
- Demonstrate time management and prioritize tasks.
