About The Position
The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) delivers personal care and minimal homemaker services to hospice patients in homes, assisted living facilities, or long-term care facilities. Homemaker services promote a safe and clean patient environment. Services are provided according to Hosparus Health policies and the CNA plan of care (POC). The CNA also participates in developing policies and procedures that guide the provision of hospice care.
Requirements
- CNA certification in the state where hired to work, or an active LPN or RN license.
- Valid driver's license.
- Auto insurance coverage.
Nice To Haves
- High school diploma preferred.
- One year of home health aide or nursing assistant experience preferred.
- Experience using technology-based tools, including electronic medical records, strongly preferred.
Responsibilities
- Deliver personal care to hospice patients.
- Provide minimal homemaker services that promote a safe and clean patient environment.
- Provide services in accordance with Hosparus Health policies and the CNA plan of care.
- Participate in developing policies and procedures that guide the provision of hospice care.
