About The Position

Regency Hospital - Florence is a critical illness recovery hospital providing inpatient post-ICU services to chronic, critically ill patients who need extended healing and recovery. Certified Nursing Assistants play a central role in delivering compassionate care. This PRN/per-diem role is located in Florence, South Carolina, and works 12-hour day shifts at $20.00 per hour. The employer offers an extensive orientation program and potential advancement to full-time opportunities. Part-time and per-diem employees may qualify for 401(k) based on working 1,000 hours within their first anniversary or a subsequent calendar year.

Requirements

• High school diploma/GED or at least 3 years of relevant work experience.
• Hospital experience as a nursing assistant, nursing assistant certification, or experience in a related field, such as medical assistant or active enrollment as an RN student.
• BLS certification is required within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient services, including bathing with basin-less bath products, oral hygiene, oral feeding, and hair care.
• Participate in hourly rounds.
• Transport patients to and from treatment centers as needed and assist transporters with moving patients in and out of stretchers and wheelchairs.
• Maintain the cleanliness of instruments and equipment, such as bedpans, urinals, and wheelchairs.
• Keep patients’ rooms clean and orderly.
• Maintain unit stock levels of supplies and equipment as directed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
