About The Position
Lincoln Surgical Hospital is seeking a compassionate, high-quality Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide exceptional patient care. The role assists nursing staff in delivering comprehensive patient care within the scope of the CNA’s certification, helping ensure a safe, comfortable, and positive experience for every patient. The position is PRN (as needed), with a scheduled shift from 5:45 PM to 6:15 AM, at Lincoln Surgical Hospital in Lincoln, Nebraska.
Requirements
- Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification from a state-approved training program.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification at time of hire.
- Food preparation/cook permit within 7 days of hire.
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience in an acute care setting.
Responsibilities
- Assist patients with activities of daily living.
- Ambulate patients as directed.
- Safely and comfortably position patients based on individual needs.
- Obtain, record, and report vital signs to the nurse.
- Maintain cleanliness of assigned areas and stock and replenish supplies and equipment as needed.
- Follow standard precautions and properly use personal protective equipment (PPE).
