About The Position

Rocky Mountain Homecare & Hospice is seeking a compassionate and dependable Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide care to patients in St. George, Utah, on a PRN basis. The role offers flexible work while supporting patients and families in homecare and hospice settings.

The CNA provides services in accordance with established care plans, policies, and supervisor direction. The position involves assisting patients with daily living and personal care, communicating relevant observations to the care team, and treating patients with dignity while protecting their privacy and rights.

Requirements

• Certified Nursing Assistant in good standing with the state.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current CPR/BLS certification.
• Strong communication, listening, and teamwork skills.
• Ability to provide compassionate care while maintaining professionalism.
• Basic computer skills and ability to document care electronically.
• Ability to safely perform the physical requirements of the position.

Nice To Haves

• Previous CNA experience is preferred, but not required.
• Experience in long-term care or a similar care setting is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide CNA services according to established care plans, policies, and supervisor direction.
• Assist patients with activities of daily living and personal care.
• Help with lifting, turning, positioning, transferring, and mobility as needed.
• Assist with toileting and other daily care needs.
• Monitor and report changes in a patient’s condition, including concerns related to skin integrity or overall well-being.
• Complete required documentation and communicate relevant information to the appropriate nurse or supervisor.
• Support the nursing team and other care team members as needed.
• Treat every patient with dignity, respect, and compassion while protecting their privacy and rights.
• Follow safety, infection control, confidentiality, and other applicable policies and procedures.
