About The Position
Cascades at Orchard Park is hiring a PRN Certified Nursing Assistant for day shifts in Orem, Utah. This on-call role provides coverage as needed, with a commitment of one shift per month. Day shifts run from 6 AM to 6 PM, and there is no weekend requirement. On-the-job training is tailored to the employee’s experience and comfort level.
Requirements
- Current CNA certification.
- Dependability and strong communication skills.
- Willingness to learn and follow long-term care regulations.
Responsibilities
- Answer residents’ call lights and determine their needs.
- Turn and reposition residents in bed.
- Provide physical support with activities of daily living, including getting in and out of bed, bathing, eating, dressing, toileting, standing, walking, and exercising.
- Review dietary restrictions, allergies, and preferences to help ensure residents follow proper diets.
- Record food and fluid intake and output as necessary.
- Promptly report changes in residents’ conditions to nursing staff.
- Build relationships with residents to help ensure their stay is comfortable and dignified.
