Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)
About The Position
Elite Care Management, Inc. is seeking compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistants to join its healthcare team. The company has provided private duty health care for over 25 years and focuses on exceptional patient care and improved health outcomes in the community. CNAs work with one patient for the complete shift, becoming familiar with the patient, their needs, and their family life. The role involves supporting daily living activities, comfort, and overall well-being to enhance quality of life. Full-time and part-time shifts are available, including shifts from 8:30 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. on various weekdays and weekends. The stated pay range is $20–$22 per hour.
Requirements
- CNA state certification.
- Current CPR card.
- Driver’s license.
- Social Security card.
- Auto insurance card.
- TB test results: a two-step test or chest X-ray within the last 12 months, or QuantiFERON Gold blood work within the last 5 years.
Responsibilities
- Maintain records of patient care, condition, progress, or problems, and report and discuss observations with a supervisor or case manager.
- Support patient mobility by assisting with lifting and transferring as needed.
- Assist patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and eating.
- Perform light housekeeping duties, such as changing bed linens, laundry, cleaning, or preparing meals.
- Enhance patients’ quality of life and build relationships through conversation, shared activities, and mental stimulation.
- Monitor patients’ pulse, temperature, and respiration.
