About The Position
Brookdale is hiring a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), known as a State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA) in Ohio. CNAs work with community management to provide seniors with personalized care and share resident status updates at the beginning and end of each shift. The role includes checking in with residents, assisting with dining and personal care, checking vital signs, and performing clinical procedures according to community policy. A state CNA/STNA course must be successfully completed, and certification must be maintained. Requirements
- Successfully complete a State CNA/STNA course.
- Maintain CNA/STNA certification.
Responsibilities
- Work with community management to provide seniors with personalized care.
- Give resident status updates at the beginning and end of each shift.
- Check in with residents and assist with dining and personal care needs.
- Perform vital sign checks and clinical procedures according to community policy.
- Assist residents with activities of daily living, including showers, bathroom assistance, dressing, and grooming.
