About The Position

Sampson Regional Medical Center is hiring a Certified Nursing Assistant for the Medical Surgical Department. The selected candidate performs patient care activities and related non-professional services to meet the personal needs and comfort of patients of all ages, under the direction and guidance of professional and nursing personnel. This is a full-time night-shift position working 12-hour shifts from 7:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m., including rotating weekends and holidays.

Requirements

• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification is required.
• BLS certification is required.
• High school diploma is required.

Nice To Haves

• Three years of CNA experience in a MedSurg unit is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform patient care activities and related non-professional services to support patients’ personal needs and comfort.
• Provide care to patients of all ages under the direction and guidance of professional and nursing personnel.
