CNA - Certified Nursing Assistant
About The Position
Creekside Village is hiring a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to support residents’ well-being and help create a warm, supportive, homelike environment. The role includes building meaningful relationships with residents and staff, promoting dignity and respect, and providing individualized attention. CNAs work collaboratively with nursing and healthcare teams to deliver coordinated care. The position offers opportunities for career advancement through training and the ASC Pathways clinical career ladder. Requirements
- Hold a valid and current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in the state of Indiana.
- Be able to perform physical tasks, including lifting, bending, and assisting with resident mobility.
- Have a strong passion for geriatric nursing and a commitment to senior care excellence.
Responsibilities
- Provide companionship and emotional support to create a comforting and engaging atmosphere.
- Work collaboratively with nursing and healthcare teams to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care.
- Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Assist residents with mobility, including transferring and repositioning, to prevent discomfort and promote independence.
- Assist residents during mealtimes, support proper nutrition intake, and accommodate individual dietary needs.
- Monitor and report changes in residents’ physical and emotional well-being.
