About The Position
The Certified Nursing Assistant assists with unit and patient care needs under the direction and supervision of a registered nurse. The role has full access to patient health information and may have access to medication storage areas, excluding controlled substances, as related to job responsibilities. The shift is PRN.
Requirements
- High school graduation or equivalent is required, unless the applicant is a current high school student participating in the CATS program for the NC.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross is required.
- Must be listed in good standing with the North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services Division of Health Service Regulation.
- Must be willing to obtain CNA 1+4 Skills within six months of hire for Endo.
- Must be able to pass a basic FIT test involving bending, stooping, standing, and sitting for extended periods.
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 30 pounds.
Nice To Haves
- Endoscopy experience preferred for Endo.
