About The Position

The Certified Nursing Assistant provides care in Skilled Nursing Facilities that responds to the physical and psychological needs of members served and is consistent with recovery-centered care principles. This position is at Morton Bakar Center, a Skilled Nursing Facility providing psychosocial rehabilitation and skills-building support for adults ages 65 and older whose primary diagnosis is severe mental illness. The role is full-time on the NOC shift, 11:00 PM–7:00 AM, with days varying as needed. The expected starting wage range is $23.00–$27.63; geographic differentials apply, and starting pay is commensurate with relevant experience above the minimum requirements.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Current Nursing Assistant Certification.
• Ability to communicate in English verbally and in writing.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must hold current CPR, First Aid, and CPI certifications from hands-on courses by the date of employment or before providing direct client care, and maintain current certifications throughout employment.
• Successful completion and acceptable results of applicable post-offer physical examination, two-step PPD tuberculosis test, criminal background clearances, excluded-party sanctions, and degree or license verification.
• If driving is required, a valid driver license, motor vehicle clearance, and proof of auto insurance are required at employment and must be maintained throughout employment.
