Hospice CNA – Home & Facility Visits, FT1.0, Rome, GA
About The Position
The Certified Nursing Assistant provides compassionate, hands-on support to hospice patients in home and facility settings throughout the Rome, Georgia service area and surrounding counties. The role supports a safe, comfortable, respectful care environment and works collaboratively with licensed nurses and interdisciplinary care teams while meeting the needs of adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients. This is a full-time position, scheduled for 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. There are no weekend or holiday shifts. Hours may occasionally extend later based on patient needs and visit schedules. Travel is required throughout the service area; mileage is reimbursed at the current IRS standard rate.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Completion of an accredited CNA training program or equivalent.
- Active CNA certification in the state of Georgia.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-based environment.
Nice To Haves
- At least 1 year of CNA experience.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care support under the supervision of a licensed nurse.
