About The Position

Legacy Home Health Agency, Inc. is seeking a Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) to provide personal care and simple procedures as an extension of therapy or nursing to patients in their residences. The role helps maintain a safe and clean environment, works cooperatively with patients and families, and reports observations, changes, and problems to a supervisor. Starting pay is $17.00 per hour or more depending on experience.

Requirements

• Active CNA certification.
• Bilingual in Spanish.
• Reliable transportation, a valid driver’s license, and current auto liability insurance.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on personal care according to the Aide Care Plan and provide simple procedures as an extension of therapy or nursing.
• Report changes in the patient’s condition in a timely manner.
• Complete accurate documentation in a timely manner.
• Follow infection prevention and control policies and standard precautions.
• Promote positive, supportive, and respectful communication with patients, families, and other employees.
• Provide a clean, safe, and comfortable environment that respects the patient, their privacy, and their property.
• Participate in educational opportunities to demonstrate commitment, personal growth, and competency, including 12 hours of in-services per year.
• Promote the agency mission to ensure safe and high-quality care.
