CNA Certified Nursing Assistant Full Time Nights
About The Position
Vibra Healthcare is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant for a full-time night-shift role at Vibra Hospital of Sacramento in Folsom, California. The hospital is a 58-bed critical care hospital providing acute care to patients recovering from serious illnesses or injuries, including medically complex conditions. The position works 12-hour shifts in a fast-paced, friendly environment serving patients and their families. The Certified Nursing Assistant assists licensed nursing personnel with patient care by providing and documenting activities of daily living, including personal hygiene and grooming, and helping maintain a clean, healthy, and safe environment. The role uses basic infection control procedures and basic nutrition and fluid intake skills, and requires recognizing and responding to emergency situations.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Two years of experience as a Nurse Aide, or other relevant experience in lieu of education will be considered.
- Current, valid, and active certification to practice as a Nursing Assistant as applicable in the state of employment.
- BLS certification from a Vibra-approved vendor within six months of hire.
- Ability to project a professional image.
- Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance requirements.
- Strong organizational, prioritizing, and analytical skills.
- Ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant.
- Working knowledge of computer and software applications used in job functions.
- Freedom from illegal use of and effects of use of drugs and alcohol in the workplace.
Nice To Haves
- Acute care or LTAC experience preferred.
