About The Position
PAM Health Wiregrass Ranch is hiring a Certified Nursing Assistant for its new rehabilitation hospital. The CNA performs patient care activities and accommodative services under the general supervision of a Registered Nurse or Licensed Vocational/Practical Nurse. Duties must remain within the limits of the position and follow PAM Health policies, procedures, and guidelines. The CNA does not administer medications or therapy and does not assume independent responsibility for patient care. Other related duties may be assigned or requested.
Requirements
- Current BLS certification is required.
- Certification as a nursing assistant (CNA) is required where mandated by the state in which the hospital is located.
Nice To Haves
- High school graduation or equivalent is preferred.
- Two to three years of experience in an acute hospital, rehabilitation hospital, or skilled nursing unit is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Perform patient care activities under the general supervision of a Registered Nurse or Licensed Vocational/Practical Nurse.
- Provide accommodative services within the limits of the position.
- Follow PAM Health policies, procedures, and guidelines while performing job duties.
- Perform other related duties as assigned or requested.
