About The Position
This is a training program for Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA) at Mason Health and Rehabilitation. The program offers classroom instruction and clinical experience to prepare individuals for a career in healthcare. Upon successful completion, there are opportunities for full-time or part-time positions within the facility. The facility also offers opportunities for free QMA classes for those interested in long-term care. Mason Health and Rehabilitation values its team members and their contributions to resident care.
Requirements
- Must be 16 years old or older.
- Successfully pass the English, Reading and Math Competency Test.
- Must pass Criminal Background and Drug Screen.
- A passion for caring for people.
- Personal integrity and the ability to deal tactfully with residents, family members, visitors, government agencies and other personnel.
- Ability to be discrete and protect the integrity of confidential information and stay within Corporate Compliance and HIPAA.
- Knowledge on the use of personal computers, Word and Excel, and working with office machines such as fax and copying machines.
