About The Position

This is a training program to become a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) at a five-star acute care facility. The program offers the opportunity to learn about different areas of care and how to best care for residents. Upon successful completion, there are opportunities for full-time or part-time positions, and potential for free QMA classes if interested in long-term care. Ashton Creek Health and Rehabilitation Center values its employees and believes every job makes a difference.

Requirements

Must be 16 years old or older.
Successfully pass the English, Reading and Math Competency Test.
Must Pass Criminal Background and Drug Screen.
A passion for caring for people.
Personal integrity and the ability to deal tactfully with residents, family members, visitors, government agencies and other personnel.
The ability to be discrete and protect the integrity of confidential information and stay within Corporate Compliance and HIPAA.
Knowledge on the use of personal computers, Word and Excel, and working with office machines such as fax and copying machines.
