About The Position

We are seeking reliable, compassionate, professional, and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA) to join our team in LE ROY, NY 14482. As a CNA, you will provide essential support to patients in various healthcare settings, assisting with daily activities and ensuring their comfort and well-being. This position offers flexible scheduling; however, we are prioritizing candidates who can commit to a consistent weekly schedule. Employees can also complete double shifts. FULL-TIME Openings: 7AM-3PM (Day) and 3PM-11PM (Eve) If you are unable to commit and consistently work any of the open shifts including working every other Saturday & Sunday then this position is not the right fit for you. The hourly rate is $23.50/hr. and the overtime & holiday rate is $35.25/hr. Our pay period is Sunday to Saturday and pay is weekly (every Thursday via direct deposit)

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; successful completion of an accredited CNA training program.
  • Current, valid Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a genuine, compassionate approach to patient care.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism and focus.
  • Basic knowledge of patient care protocols and commitment to safety.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous healthcare experience preferred, yet new graduates with enthusiasm are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

  • Assist patients with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal assistance.
  • Monitor and record patients' vital signs and report any changes to the nursing staff.
  • Provide mobility assistance, including transferring patients to and from beds, wheelchairs, and other locations.
  • Support nursing and medical staff in the delivery of quality patient care.
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients, ensuring adherence to infection control protocols.
  • Build positive relationships with patients, families, and staff to foster a supportive environment.
  • Participate in training and ongoing education to enhance skills and knowledge in patient care.
