About The Position

Elite Care Management, Inc. is seeking compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA) and Home Health Aides (HHA) to join its healthcare team. The company has provided private-duty healthcare for over 25 years and focuses on exceptional patient care and improving health outcomes in the community. The position serves one patient for the complete shift, allowing the caregiver to become familiar with the patient, their needs, and their family life. The caregiver assists with daily living activities, comfort, and overall well-being to enhance the patient's quality of life. The schedule is six hours per week in the morning in Venice, Florida, with no weekends. Pay is $22 per hour.

Requirements

• Florida CNA certification or HHA certification with completion of a 75-hour HHA training program.
• Current CPR certification.
• Social Security card.
• Driver's license and auto insurance card.
• TB test: two-step test within the last 12 months or QuantiFERON test within the last five years.

Responsibilities

• Maintain records of patient care, condition, progress, and problems, and report and discuss observations with a supervisor or case manager.
• Assist patients with lifting and transferring to support mobility.
• Assist patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and eating.
• Perform light housekeeping, such as changing bed linens, doing laundry, cleaning, or preparing meals.
• Build relationships with patients and enhance their quality of life through conversation, shared activities, and mental stimulation.
• Monitor patients' pulse, temperature, and respiration.
