Certified Nursing Assistant / Home Health Aide
About The Position
Elite Care Management, Inc. is seeking compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA) and Home Health Aides (HHA) to join its healthcare team. The company has been a provider in the private-duty healthcare industry for over 25 years and aims to deliver exceptional patient care and improve health outcomes in the community. The caregiver works with one patient for the complete shift, getting to know the patient, their needs, and their family life. The role involves assisting with daily living activities, ensuring patient comfort, and supporting overall well-being to enhance quality of life. The position is in Venice, Florida, for six hours per week in the morning, with no weekends, and pays $22 per hour.
Requirements
- Florida state CNA or HHA certification, or completion of a 75-hour HHA training program.
- Current CPR certification.
- Social Security card.
- Driver’s license and auto insurance card.
- TB test: a two-step test within the last 12 months or a QuantiFERON test within the last five years.
Responsibilities
- Maintain records of patient care, condition, progress, or problems, and report and discuss observations with a supervisor or case manager.
- Support patient mobility by assisting with lifting and transferring as needed.
- Assist patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and eating.
- Perform light housekeeping duties, such as changing bed linens, doing laundry, cleaning, or preparing meals.
- Enhance patients’ quality of life and build relationships through conversation, shared activities, and mental stimulation.
- Monitor patients’ pulse, temperature, and respiration.
