This position provides direct patient care and clinical support under the direction of a Registered Nurse. Performs delegated tasks within the scope of practice, maintains accurate and timely documentation, and collaborates with the healthcare team to support quality patient outcomes. Requirements

• Current certification as a nursing assistant required or enrollment in the SPH CNA training program and must obtain certification at the end of the training period.
• Current and valid BLS certification required.
• SECURE Training required within 6 months of hire date, then annually updated.
• Positive attitude.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work productively under stress.
• Professional demeanor.
• Ability to prioritize workloads.

Nice To Haves

• Previous hospital/long term care experience, including the use of medical terminology.
