About The Position

Visiting Angels Humble is seeking compassionate Certified Nursing Assistants to provide in-home support to senior adults and others in need in Kingwood and surrounding communities. The role includes helping clients with medication, personal care, mobility, exercises, meal preparation, shopping, light housekeeping, and transportation, while also serving as a pleasant and supportive companion. Caregivers must report unusual incidents and respond responsibly to emergencies. Advanced training opportunities in areas such as dementia and Alzheimer’s care are available. The posting lists full-time, part-time, PRN, and short-shift options, along with 8-, 10-, and 12-hour shifts.

Requirements

Responsibilities

Help clients take prescribed medication.
Assist clients with ambulation and mobility at home and outside the home, including walks and doctor’s appointments.
Assist clients with personal care and hygiene.
Help clients with routine exercises.
Plan and prepare meals with clients’ assistance when they are able.
Shop for clients or accompany them while shopping.
Perform light housekeeping duties clients cannot complete on their own.
Provide pleasant and supportive companionship.
Report unusual incidents.
Act quickly and responsibly in emergencies.
