About The Position
Cascades at Orchard Park in Orem, Utah is hiring a Certified Nursing Assistant for weekend PRN day shifts. The position offers a flexible, on-call schedule, with shifts from 6 AM to 6 PM as coverage is needed. On-the-job training is tailored to each employee’s experience and comfort level. The CNA helps residents with daily living activities, responds to their needs, monitors and reports relevant information, and supports a comfortable and dignified stay.
Requirements
- Current CNA certification.
- Dependability and strong communication skills.
- Willingness to learn and follow long-term care regulations.
Responsibilities
- Answer residents’ call lights to determine their needs.
- Turn and reposition residents while they are in bed.
- Provide physical support with daily living activities, including getting in and out of bed, bathing, eating, dressing, toileting, standing, walking, or exercising.
- Review dietary restrictions, allergies, and preferences to help ensure residents follow proper diets.
- Record food and fluid intake and output as necessary.
- Promptly report changes in residents’ conditions to nursing staff.
- Build relationships with residents to help ensure their stay is comfortable and dignified.
