Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)
About The Position
St. Dominic Villa, an Illuminus Community in Hazel Green, Wisconsin, provides long-term skilled nursing and short-term rehabilitation services for older adults. The Certified Nursing Assistant provides person-centered care to residents in a supportive community environment. The role is available full-time, part-time, and PRN, with scheduling options and shift availability varying according to community needs. Shifts may be eight hours and may include a scheduled weekend rotation. CNA nursing students pursuing a nursing degree may also have the opportunity to work as a Medication Administration Aide (MAA), gaining experience in medication administration alongside nursing professionals while continuing their education. Pay is $19.30–$24.00 per hour, based on experience.
Requirements
- At least 16 years of age.
- Active CNA certification on the Wisconsin Nurse Aide Registry.
- Current CPR certification.

Responsibilities
- Provide person-centered assistance with activities of daily living, including bathing, hygiene, dressing, toileting, mobility, meals, and room preparation, according to the care plan.
- Monitor residents’ conditions, respond promptly to their needs, report changes or incidents to the licensed nurse, and accurately document care each shift.
- Promote dignity, respect, resident rights, and effective communication.
- Follow safety, infection prevention, universal precautions, body mechanics, and equipment-use standards.
- Participate in meetings, training, and continuing education, perform on-call duties, and complete other assigned responsibilities.
