About The Position

Maine Veterans’ Homes is hiring a full-time Certified Nursing Assistant to provide compassionate care to Veterans and their families. The position works a 1st shift from 5:45 AM to 2:15 PM on a rotating 4-on / 2-off schedule. The employer describes the schedule as consistent and predictable, with an emphasis on work-life balance. Requirements

• Must be active and in good standing on the Maine CNA registry.
• Ability and willingness to work harmoniously and professionally with co-workers, staff, supervisors, residents, and their families.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and in a team environment.
• Ability to understand and communicate effectively in English, verbally and in writing.
• Basic computer skills.
