Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) – Full-Time
About The Position
Salinas Valley Post Acute is hiring a full-time Certified Nursing Assistant to provide compassionate, resident-centered care at its skilled nursing facility. The position offers a starting pay rate of $21.00–$25.00 per hour, based on experience, and a $1,500 sign-on bonus. The schedule is four days on and two days off, with day, evening, and night shifts available. The CNA provides essential daily care that supports residents’ dignity and comfort, assists with clinical tasks and nutrition, communicates changes in residents’ conditions to nursing leadership, and helps maintain a clean and safe care environment. Requirements
- Active California CNA certification.
- Compassionate, patient, and resident-focused attitude.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Must pass a background check and meet health screening requirements.
Responsibilities
- Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility.
- Take and record vital signs, weights, and other clinical data.
- Assist with meal service, feeding, and hydration as needed.
- Promptly report changes in residents’ conditions to nursing leadership.
- Maintain clean, safe, and organized care areas while following infection control protocols.
