About The Position

Sevita is hiring a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for its Adult Day Health team at Brockton Med Adult Day Center in Brockton, Massachusetts. The CNA provides compassionate, hands-on care to older adults and individuals with disabilities, assisting with daily living activities and supporting participants’ health, safety, and well-being in a community-based environment. This is a full-time position scheduled Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with no weekends or evening shifts. The wage is $18.00 per hour. Candidates must have an active CNA certification, be fluent in English, and hold current CPR/First Aid certification. A high school diploma or GED is required. At least one year of CNA experience is preferred, ideally supporting older adults or individuals with disabilities.

Requirements

Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification.
High school diploma or GED.
Current CPR/First Aid certification.
Fluency in English.
Comfort assisting with personal hygiene, mobility, and daily living activities.
Ability to safely perform physical duties, including lifting and assisting participants.
Strong communication skills, compassion, and attention to detail.
Ability to travel as needed.

Nice To Haves

Minimum one year of CNA experience, ideally supporting older adults or individuals with disabilities.

Responsibilities

Provide hands-on personal care, including hygiene, grooming, toileting, mobility, and daily living assistance.
Monitor participants’ health and safety, assist with medications as authorized, and respond to changes in condition or emergencies.
Support daily activities, social engagement, and meals, and help maintain a clean, safe environment.
Maintain accurate documentation and collaborate with nursing staff to provide compassionate, person-centered care while ensuring confidentiality.
