About The Position

Park Place Health and Wellness Center, an assisted living community in St. John, Indiana, is seeking a part-time Certified Nursing Assistant for the 3:00 PM–11:00 PM evening shift. The role works closely with fellow staff members to provide residents assistance and care according to their needs.

Typical resident-care activities include helping with dressing, bathing, toileting, walking, and transferring. Other duties include medication reminders, making beds, responding to call lights, and documenting work. The position requires availability every other weekend.

Requirements

• Must be a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in the state of Indiana.
• Must pass a physical, drug screen, 50-pound lift test, fingerprint-based criminal background check, and reference check.
• Must be able to work every other weekend.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience in long-term care is a plus but is not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with dressing, bathing, toileting, walking, and transferring.
• Remind residents about medications.
• Make beds.
• Respond to call lights.
• Document work.
• Work closely with fellow staff members to provide care in accordance with residents’ needs.
