About The Position

Bright Home Health is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join its growing team. The role provides one-on-one in-home support to a patient with dementia, including companionship, mobility assistance, medication reminders when family members have not already provided them, and help with simple meals. The position also involves assisting with physical therapy exercises, redirecting the patient if they want to go out (only family takes the patient out), and responding responsibly to emergencies or unusual incidents. Bright Home Health is a family-owned business in the Tulsa, Oklahoma area, licensed to provide services throughout Oklahoma. Caregivers are supervised by experienced, qualified registered nurses. Requirements

• Prior experience in a healthcare, hospitality, or in-home care environment, with a minimum of 1 year.
• High school diploma or equivalent, experience as a caregiver, CNA, or HHA, or completion of a CNA program.
• Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and physically perform job-related duties.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation every day.
• Ability to act in a compassionate and supportive manner.
• Willingness to enforce health and safety standards.
• Enjoy working in a one-on-one setting and be eager to improve and continuously learn new skills.
• Take pride in providing high-quality care.

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship to a patient with dementia.
• Help with medication reminders if the family has not already done so.
• Assist the patient with mobility around the house.
• Prepare easy microwave meals or sandwiches.
• Assist with physical therapy exercises.
• Report unusual incidents and act quickly and responsibly in emergencies.
• Redirect the patient if they want to go out; only family takes the patient out.
