About The Position

Meadowbrook Village Christian Retirement Community is a non-profit organization in Escondido serving residents in independent living, assisted living, memory care, and skilled nursing. The organization is licensed as a Continuing Care Retirement Community (CCRC); its 19-bed skilled nursing facility opened in 2017.

The Certified Nursing Assistant provides personalized care to skilled nursing facility residents experiencing a temporary setback or terminal diagnosis. Working with LVNs and RNs, the CNA supports accurate medical care and enriching interactions with residents and their families. The role helps ensure high-quality resident care in compliance with federal, state, and company regulations and policies. The position reports to the Director of Staff Development and Director of Nursing.

This is a part-time NOC position working 8-hour shifts from 11:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. on Monday, Friday, and Saturday. Pay is $21.20 per hour plus a night-shift differential.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current and valid Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license in California.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, including patience and compassion.
• Ability to effectively handle and prioritize multiple items or tasks.
• Ability to maintain appropriate confidentiality and privacy.
• Willingness and ability to respond effectively to emergency or crisis situations.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, personalized resident care in accordance with federal, state, and company regulations and policies.
• Direct and document nursing duties.
• Monitor and review care plans and procedures.
