About The Position
Visiting Angels Midtown is seeking compassionate, experienced caregivers to provide non-medical in-home care for seniors and people with disabilities, helping them remain in their homes. Services range from companionship and personal care to more complex support for clients living with chronic disease, recovering from a stroke, or recovering from surgery. The office matches caregivers with clients based on skill level and personality. Caregivers may choose as many or as few hours as they desire, with opportunities for fill-in shifts and overtime. Work is in person in the local area. Available schedules include full-time and part-time work, with 8-hour and 10-hour shifts. Expected hours are 20–45 per week.
Requirements
- At least one year of in-home care experience, professional or private.
- Must be at least 18 years old and legally authorized to work in the United States.
- Must be fully vaccinated and boosted against COVID-19 and provide a shot record.
- Valid driver’s license and clean DMV record.
- Reliable transportation.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to use a smartphone for electronic visit verification (EVV) and caregiver notes.
- Ability to pass extensive background checks, including Live Scan fingerprinting.
- Negative TB screening within the last 90 days.
- Registration on the California Home Care Aide Registry.
- Compassionate, understanding, flexible, and genuinely motivated to help others.

Responsibilities
- Provide non-medical in-home care to seniors and people with disabilities.

- Work with clients assigned according to caregiver skills and compatibility.
