Certified Nursing Assistant / Aide C.N.A.
About The Position
We are seeking a caring and empathetic Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide daily care and support to residents and patients. CNAs support the nursing care delivered in the facility and provide care such as bathing assistance, changing linens, positioning patients, offering hydration, checking on patients in the morning and at night, and taking and recording vital signs. Other similar duties may be assigned by the nursing department when necessary. The role is hiring for full-time and part-time schedules, with shifts from 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. The posted pay range is USD $18.00–$22.00 per hour. The wage range reflects factors including skills, experience, education and training, licensure and certifications, and business and organizational needs.
Requirements
- Must be a licensed Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in good standing with the state, as required.
- Able to react appropriately to emergency situations when required.
- Must be able to relate information concerning a resident’s condition.
- Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
- Must be caring and dedicated to providing high-quality care to residents and patients.
- Reliable transportation required.
Responsibilities
- Assist residents and patients with bathing.
- Change linens.
- Properly position patients.
- Offer hydration.
- Check in on patients in the morning and at night.
- Take and record vital signs.
- Perform other similar duties assigned by the nursing department when necessary.
- React appropriately to emergency situations when required.
- Relate information concerning a resident’s condition.
