About The Position

Calhoun Convalescent Center is seeking a caring and empathetic Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide daily care and support to residents and patients. The role supports nursing care delivered in the facility and includes helping residents with personal care, comfort, hydration, and monitoring. PRN shifts are available from 7 a.m.–3 p.m., 3 p.m.–11 p.m., and 11 p.m.–7 a.m. The posted pay range is $18.00–$22.00 per hour, with compensation determined by factors including skills, experience, education, training, licensure, certifications, and organizational needs.

Requirements

Hold a CNA license in good standing with the state, as required.
Be able to respond appropriately to emergency situations when required.
Be able to communicate information concerning a resident’s condition.
Be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
Be caring and dedicated to providing high-quality care to residents and patients.
Have reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

Assist residents and patients with bathing.
Change linens.
Position patients appropriately.
Offer hydration.
Check in on patients in the morning and at night.
Take and record vital signs.
Perform other similar duties as assigned by the nursing department when necessary.
