About The Position

Eventide Lincoln is hiring a full-time Certified Nursing Aide (CNA) for the Eventide Lincoln Care Center. The position assists residents with physical, mental, spiritual, psychological, and social needs, following established nursing care procedures under the supervision, guidance, and teaching of the supervisor in charge. The scheduled night shift is 6 p.m. to 6 a.m. (12 hours), with an every-third-weekend and holiday rotation.

Requirements

• Active CNA license in the state of Nebraska.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Six months of experience as an aide or caregiver preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, feeding, toileting, transferring or ambulation, and continence.
• Assist with senior/client admissions, discharges, transfers, and orientation of new employees.
• Follow department protocol for submitting completed documentation.
• Prioritize assignments and adjust throughout the shift to meet changing or overlapping needs of seniors, clients, caregivers, team members, and managers, including responding to call lights when necessary.
• Perform duties within the assigned work environment related to the position, as assigned by Eventide.
• Follow the comprehensive care plan or service plan developed for each individual senior or client.
• Comply with HIPAA privacy regulations and safeguard protected health information at all times.
