About The Position
The Certified Nursing Aide provides individualized care according to each resident’s care plan, assists with activities of daily living while promoting independence and dignity, and reports changes in residents’ health status to the clinical team. The role also involves building compassionate, positive connections with residents and their families, participating in ongoing learning and staff meetings, and protecting the confidentiality and privacy of resident information. Other duties may be assigned.
Requirements
- High school graduate or GED equivalent.
- Current certification from an accredited Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) program.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to serve with love, compassion, and dignity.
Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional, individualized care according to each resident’s care plan.
- Assist residents with activities of daily living while promoting independence and maintaining dignity.
- Report changes in residents’ health status to the clinical team.
- Connect with residents and family members in a compassionate and impactful manner to create a positive experience.
- Participate in educational seminars, staff meetings, and other learning and development opportunities.
- Comply with rules and regulations regarding confidentiality and privacy of resident information.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
