Certified Nursing Aide (CNA) - Part-time- 1st shift
About The Position
The Certified Nursing Aide delivers individualized care according to each resident’s care plan, supports residents with activities of daily living while promoting independence and dignity, and reports changes in residents’ health status to the clinical team. The role also involves building compassionate, positive connections with residents and their families, participating in learning and development activities, protecting the confidentiality and privacy of resident information, and performing other duties as assigned. This is a part-time, first-shift position at Heritage Woods of Dwight in Dwight, Illinois.
Requirements
- High school graduate or GED equivalent.
- Current certification from an accredited Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) program.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to serve with love, compassion, and dignity.
Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional and individualized care as determined by each resident’s care plan.
- Assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) while promoting independence and maintaining dignity.
- Report changes in resident health status to the clinical team.
- Connect compassionately with residents and family members to create a positive experience.
- Attend and participate in educational seminars, staff meetings, and other learning experiences.
- Comply with rules and regulations regarding confidentiality and privacy of resident information.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
