About The Position

The Certified Nursing Aide provides individualized care according to each resident’s care plan, assisting with activities of daily living while promoting independence and dignity. The role includes observing and reporting changes in residents’ health, communicating compassionately with residents and family members, and protecting the confidentiality and privacy of resident information. The aide participates in ongoing learning through educational seminars, staff meetings, and other learning experiences, and performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High school graduate or GED equivalent.
• Current certification from an accredited Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) program.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to serve with love, compassion, and dignity.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional and individualized care according to each resident’s care plan.
• Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), promoting independence and maintaining dignity.
• Report changes in resident health status to the clinical team.
• Connect with residents and family members compassionately to create a positive experience.
• Attend and participate in educational seminars, staff meetings, and other learning experiences.
• Comply with rules and regulations concerning confidentiality and privacy of resident information.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
