About The Position

Regent Park Rehabilitation & Healthcare is hiring a full-time Certified Nursing Aide (CNA) for a rotating night schedule. The role provides routine daily nursing care and services to residents in accordance with their assessments and care plans, while helping maintain a respectful, calm, clean, and safe environment. The position offers a starting wage of $17.00 or more, depending on years of experience, plus a $1,000 sign-on bonus. Annual reviews may include pay increases based on satisfactory performance. The night shift runs from 6:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. on a rotating two-week schedule: Week 1 is Sunday, Wednesday, and Thursday; Week 2 is Monday, Tuesday, Friday, and Saturday. Requirements

A current CNA license in the state of Kansas.
Excellent time-management skills and the ability to work on deadlines.
Ability to maintain a courteous, friendly, and helpful attitude with residents, visitors, and coworkers.
Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
Completion of a pre-employment drug screen.
Previous job experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

Provide residents with routine daily nursing care and services in accordance with their assessment and care plan, and as directed by supervisors.
Perform other nursing duties assigned by nursing management.
Create and maintain an atmosphere of warmth, personal interest, positive emphasis, and calm.
Exercise courtesy when residents, family members, and visitors are present.
Help keep areas clean and safe.
Demonstrate responsibility and commitment through good attendance and punctuality.
Respect residents' privacy and dignity.
