About The Position

The Certified Nursing Aide provides exceptional, individualized care in accordance with each resident’s care plan. The role assists residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) while promoting their independence and preserving their dignity. The aide reports changes in residents’ health status to the clinical team and communicates compassionately with residents and family members to create a positive experience. The position also involves ongoing learning and development through educational seminars, staff meetings, and other learning experiences, while following rules concerning the confidentiality and privacy of resident information. Other duties may be assigned.

Requirements

• High school graduate or GED equivalent.
• Current certification from an accredited Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) program.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to serve with love, compassion, and dignity.

Responsibilities

• Deliver individualized care according to each resident’s care plan.
• Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), promoting independence and maintaining dignity.
• Report changes in resident health status to the clinical team.
