Certified Nursing Aide (CNA) - Part-time- 3rd shift
About The Position
The Certified Nursing Aide provides individualized care according to each resident’s care plan, assisting with activities of daily living while promoting independence and preserving dignity. The role involves communicating changes in residents’ health to the clinical team and building compassionate, positive connections with residents and their families. The aide participates in educational and staff learning opportunities, protects the confidentiality and privacy of resident information, and performs other duties as assigned. This is a part-time, third-shift position at Heritage Woods of Huntley in Huntley, Illinois, with an hourly salary range of $18.50 to $20.50.
Requirements
- High school graduate or GED equivalent.
- Current certification from an accredited Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) program.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to serve with love, compassion, and dignity.
Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional, individualized care as determined by each resident’s care plan.
- Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), promoting independence and maintaining dignity.
- Report changes in resident health status to the clinical team.
- Connect with residents and family members compassionately to create a lasting, positive experience.
- Attend and participate in educational seminars, staff meetings, and other learning opportunities.
- Comply with rules and regulations regarding confidentiality and privacy of resident information.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
