About The Position

The Certified Nursing Aide provides individualized resident care according to each resident’s care plan, assists with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), and promotes residents’ independence and dignity. The role includes reporting changes in residents’ health to the clinical team and building compassionate, positive connections with residents and their families. The CNA participates in learning and development activities and follows all rules and regulations for protecting resident confidentiality and privacy. Other duties may be assigned.

Requirements

• High school graduate or GED equivalent.
• Current certification from an accredited Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) program.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to serve with love, compassion, and dignity.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional, individualized care as determined by each resident’s care plan.
• Assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) while promoting independence and maintaining dignity.
• Report changes in resident health status to the clinical team.
• Connect compassionately with residents and family members to create a positive experience.
• Attend and participate in educational seminars, staff meetings, and other learning and development opportunities.
• Comply with rules and regulations regarding confidentiality and privacy of resident information.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
